In the name of Allah, a wound and an anchor. Indeed, my Lord is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

English Translation
O Allah, we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness and piety, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey of ours easy for us and shorten its distance for us. O Allah, You are the Companion in the journey and the Successor over the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, the gloom of the sight, and the bad outcome of wealth and family.
Meaning

8. Dua for Asking Protection from Hardships
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جَهْدِ الْبَلَاءِ، وَدَرَكِ الشَّقَاءِ، وَسُوءِ الْقَضَاءِ، وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the burden of hardships, being overtaken by misery, an evil decree, and the gloating of enemies.

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
